Position: Teacher

The International Culture Exchange Centre Bangladesh (ICECB) seeks dedicated teachers to deliver engaging educational programs that foster cultural understanding and global citizenship. As an ICECB Teacher, you’ll design and deliver workshops on cultural exchange, leadership, and storytelling for teens aged 12–17. This role involves creating inclusive learning experiences that align with ICECB’s mission of “Learning Beyond Boundaries,” helping students develop global skills through hands-on activities and discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach engaging lessons on cultural traditions, public speaking, and media skills.
  • Facilitate workshops and activities for student age groups, ensuring interactive and inclusive sessions.
  • Collaborate with ICECB staff to integrate Bangladeshi heritage into global learning programs.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Mentally and morally prepared to attend international cultural exchange events alongside the participants.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for diverse participants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; 2+ years of teaching experience; proficiency in English and Bengali.
  • Experience with youth cultural programs; knowledge of global citizenship education.
  • Strong communication, creativity, and ability to engage diverse age groups.
